Your role as a UI designer

We are looking for a UI Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. UI Designer responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
• Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Presenting and defending designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.

• Conducting user research and evaluating user feedback.
• Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards.
• Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Strong skills in sketching and wireframing, user research, and design thinking.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strategic design thinking, visual design solutions, and the process by which they were developed.
• Able to effectively communicate your designs to other team members and stakeholders.

• Proficient in user experience design tools (Sketch, Abstract, Miro, Protopie, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
• Able to translate requirements into digital design that is aligned with the business and marketing strategies.
• Analyze user data and feedback to identify and troubleshoot UX problems and improve UX experience.
• Familiar with user-centered design principles and be able to create effective user interfaces.
• Strong time-management skills to effectively manage project deadlines and priorities.

• Effective communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Self-driven, self-initiated, and committed to completing projects on time.
