Ensures that all internal customers of Maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service, taking a continuing interest in internal customer needs.
Ensure CUB asset reliability through proactive maintenance.
Keeps the Utilities & Reliability Manager and Supervisors properly informed of abnormal or critical situations.
Facilitate and train plant personnel on the maintenance management processes
Initiates, reviews and manages work requests.
Analyzes work requirements and determines materials, equipment, and labor required (such as blueprints, tools, parts, and trades skill requirements) to complete the work effectively and efficiently.
Ensures that all planned maintenance work is ready to be performed with no delays. This includes the labor requirements for the execution of the work and ensuring all parts and specialty tools are kitted and available as needed.
Work closely with finance and to assist Utilities & Reliability Manager to manage the CUB budget.
Monitor closely KPIs and take lead when the performance indicator is not going to hit the target.
Ensures the established schedule is communicated to all plant stakeholders
Responsible to review the historical asset documentation in SAP, or in the case of new assets, reviews documentation provided by the Project Manager and establishes all routine maintenance activities required to maintain the asset.
Ensure that all preventive/predictive tasks are accurate and scheduled at their predetermined frequencies improving efficiencies and reducing costs to prolong the economic life of plant assets at optimal costs.
Reviews the maintenance management system and performs analysis of the data as necessary to improve and enhance plant and facilities operations.
Maintains the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and reviews repetitive problems with maintenance specialist to find a resolution. Planner should understand the fundamentals of using the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) process.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
Must possess or have the aptitude and ability to quickly develop an in-depth working knowledge of applicable Hershey processes, SAP, workflows, and procedures.
Ability to read schematics, drawings and technical manuals and understand complex equipment functionality
Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, highly motivated, and organized with the ability to prioritize and follow through.
Must be able to work in a proactive work environment, be an effective motivator, communicator, delegator, and trainer of people, and be able to effectively achieve results through others.
Sound understanding of Planning and Scheduling principle.
Show willingness to tackle new tasks and grow professionally as experience grows.
Experience with failure analysis and reliability methodologies and tools
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
At least Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent training and experience in troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical and facilities systems and equipment
Minimum of 4 years asset maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing or similar manufacturing experiences. Have strong focus on asset maintenance planning using SAP. Supervisory experience preferred.
