Position: UX/UI Designer

Location: Kuala Lumpur



We are looking for a UX/UI Designer who thinks like a customer. You will be working closely with our Product Team and Frontend Developers to create attractive UX solutions for existing or new applications. Design planning, conducting market research, seeking team members for insights and translating them into story board, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes will be a day to day thing. Have the passion about online user behaviours and constantly delivering innovative and creative designs for unique user experience to grow our application audience base.

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Evaluates user requirements in collaboration with Product Owners

\xc2\xb7 Research customers, competitors, and products

\xc2\xb7 Understand user psychology and motivation so as to position the product or service in a way that supports this

\xc2\xb7 Create user experience and interface with the user\'s needs in mind using best practices and the latest industry trends

\xc2\xb7 Illustrate design ideas using wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs and prototype.

\xc2\xb7 Develop and conduct usability testing using variety of methods to validate and refine the concept

\xc2\xb7 Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)

Requirements and skills

\xc2\xb7 At least 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design relating to both mobile apps AND web apps.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of user centered design methodologies and user experience best practices

\xc2\xb7 Experienced with user research and usability testing

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical ability with proven strength in suggesting creative solutions and innovative ideas.

\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and development team

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus

\xc2\xb7 Have empathy towards users and problem statements and possess problem-solving mindset

\xc2\xb7 BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
