Job Description


Research potential vendors
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Handle claims and rejection settlement
Liaise with store, material planning division and other relevant departments to ensure all progress of orders and requisition are well communicated
Confer with suppliers to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action
Respond to internal customers and suppliers inquiries about orders status, changes or cancellations
Process purchase requisitions/ orders within purchasing authority
