Veterinary Nurse (Full-Time / Part-Time) - Southern Veterinary Medical Centre Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia Practice Type: 24/7 General & Emergency Veterinary Hospital About Us We are a busy, well-equipped 24/7 veterinary hospital, providing both general practice and emergency care for small animals. With a dedicated team of veterinarians and nurses, we aim to deliver compassionate, high-quality medical and surgical care to our patients. Role & Responsibilities As a Veterinary Nurse, you will: Assist veterinarians in consultations, surgeries, diagnostics, and emergency procedures. Provide nursing care to inpatients, including monitoring, medication administration, and fluid therapy. Support laboratory work, imaging, and sample handling. Ensure smooth flow in the treatment area and operating theatre. Communicate effectively with pet owners, giving updates with empathy and professionalism. Maintain hospital cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control standards. Work on a shift rotation (day/night, weekends, and public holidays). Requirements Certificate/Diploma/Degree in any field OR relevant experience in a veterinary clinic/hospital. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply - training will be provided. Strong interest in animal health, emergency care, and surgical nursing. Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. Flexibility to work shifts in a 24/7 hospital environment.
