Job Purpose *
To assist the GT TSS, Tech Quality Assurance office to ensure the project governance and relevant policies and procedures, system development policy and any other relevant policy or procedures under the purview of Group Technology - Governance and Portfolio Management are always updated and relevant to current processes. This is to ensure IT project compliance and adherence to the GPLC & SDLC framework and change management deliverables at the applicable stages for IT project life cycles. The aim is to enforce and documenting the proper governance and processes which align to the project objectives. The updates to these documents may arise from the following continuous process improvement (but not limited to), such as risk team thematic review, audit findings/ project advisory observations, BNM Technology Risk Assessment, external independent audits, on-going updates to regulatory requirements, lesson learns from past projects or incidents and etc.
Key Responsibilities *
(a) Undertake the review and updates of the project management policies and procedures, system development policy and any other relevant policy or procedures under the purview of Group Technology - Governance and Portfolio Management
(b) Tracking and documenting the required enhancements to the relevant policies and procedures as part of governance or process improvement
(c) Lead and/or participate in briefing to Project Manager / Team Leads on existing and any new processes or requirements incorporated in these policies or/and procedures .
(d) Contribute and suggest improvement required and lead the engagement with relevant project practitioners to seek feedbacks prior to documenting it.
(e) Collaborate with other project practitioners and stakeholders in the development and review of enhanced policies and procedures .
(f) Act as subject matter expert in project management processes to ensure the facts and details are correct so that the programme / project's deliverables will meet the needs of stakeholders, policies & standards and best practices.
(g) Seek the relevant approvals to formalize the updated document according to the Group Policy Management Framework, Group Policy Management Procedure or any other relevant policy and procedures (where applicable).
Note: Key responsibilities may not be limited to the above and may subject to change based on new requirements such as regulatory requirements, management discretions, process improvement etc.
