Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor cum Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shooting, capturing, and editing high-quality photos and videos for various projects.

Duties and Responsibilities



Shoot, capture and produce high-quality photographs and video content across a range of projects and clients Edit medium to long-form videos with a strong sense of pacing, tension, and storytelling, keeping viewers engaged till the end. Enhance content using color grading, sound design, and effects to make videos feel polished and dynamic. Collaborate with the content team to ensure edits align with the overall vision and audience expectations as well as branding/messaging guidelines Analyze content performance and adapt editing styles based on retention and engagement data. Additionally, handles assignments requiring special lighting, multiple locations, creativity, special audio needs, custom graphics and animation. Maintaining and optimizing all production equipment, ensuring it meets professional standards. Participates in projects to integrate new video technologies and testing new hardware and software.

Requirements and Skills



Bachelor's Degree and minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience or, anycombination of education and experience that is substantially equivalent to it. Able to edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, or any of the following: Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects. Able to keep up to date with social media trends. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, administrators, students and colleagues required. Demonstrates ability to work independently on multiple assignments and to work collaboratively within a team required. Demonstrates experience in the areas of video production, as well as a thorough knowledge of audio, video and multimedia hardware and software required. Must be available to work a non-standard schedule in order to fulfil assigned duties and responsibilities. Excellent communication skills, analytical and organizational skills required. Able to do the basics of the following: audio clean up, audio mastering, lighting setup, white balance levels and colour correction. Must be proficient with computers and other peripheral devices, smart phones, digital video cameras, microphones, and video editing hardware and software. Must possess a strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Proficiency using software appropriate to a marketing and communications office; including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office; telephone; copy and fax machine. Must have access to and use their own transportation.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
