Job Responsibilities

? Assemble all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto videotape in preparation for inputting into the computer

? Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format

? Liaise with Directors, Senior Editors and Producers to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created

? Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter video
? Create basic animations and visual effects for video production

? Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
? Select the most effective shot of a scene in terms of drama, story relevance or continuity

Job Requirements

? A recognized Bachelor's Degree in Film, Video Production or equivalent

? At least 2 years of relevant experience required

? Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio

? Experience working with video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut)

? Experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus

? Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects

? Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

? Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills

? A team player with a positive attitude and professional work ethic

? Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
