Manipulate and edit footages in a way that is invisible to the audience.

Take a brief to grasp production team\xe2\x80\x99s needs and specifications.

Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on video\xe2\x80\x99s value and contribution to continuity.

Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.

Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.

Create rough and final cuts.

Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.

Consult with content manager & client from production to post-production process.

Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry\xe2\x80\x99s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Meet client\xe2\x80\x99s deadlines and deliver high quality work as a team on projects assigned.

Support the business development activities / pitches.

Maintain keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and provide effective content strategies.

Responsible for daily media monitoring for own accounts and client alerts.

Take initiative to expand expertise in digital and social media marketing. This will involve management of clients\xe2\x80\x99 social media platforms (content creations and implementation).

To undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Possess at least a certification in Communications/ Media Studies or equivalent.

At least 2 years of related working experience is required. However, fresh graduates with high passion and interest in the Digital or Multimedia industry are encouraged for the Executive role.

Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut).

Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.

Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity.

Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.

Creative mind and skills.

Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with team members to reliably carry out projects.

Ability to work well independently and as a team, as well as able to meet tight deadlines.

Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Chinese will be an added advantage.

Good attitude and ability to work well under stress is a MUST.

Must be confident, enthusiastic and enjoy meeting people.

Willing to work on extended hours and on Public Holidays when necessary.

Preferably possess own transport for ease of carrying out the job.
