Requirements

• Proficient in videography and editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Familiar with social media video specs and algorithm-friendly formats.
• Basic knowledge of audio balancing, lighting techniques, and composition.
• Able to add subtitles (manual or with AI tools) and select fitting background music.
• Able to shoot and edit content for both portrait (9:16) and landscape (16:9) formats.
• Excellent presentation skills and have the ability to express yourself in a professional manner.
• Language preference is Mandarin.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities
Video Production

• To produce video content for social media (FB, Reels, TikTok, XHS, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
• To collaborate with the marketing team to create video content that aligns with brand messaging and campaign goals.
• To handle the full production process: from concept planning, shooting, audio, lighting setup to postediting.
• To edit videos for online ads, client testimonials, interviews, product demos, behind-the-scenes, and campaign highlights. Add subtitles, animations, effects, transitions, and music to enhance video impact.
• To manage and organize video footage, project files, and creative assets.
• To stay updated on video trends, viral hooks, and platform-specific formats.
• To deliver high-quality video content timely

Content Creation

• To develop a content calendar for monthly and schedule content in advance
• To research, discover and propose audience preferences and current trends
• To develop engaging content to boost our social media presence and drive engagement such as engagement, reach, likes, shares, and comments.
• To collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine content strategies that drive engagement and support the company's marketing and business objectives.
• To adjust content strategies based on data insights to optimize future posts and improve engagement

Work experience

• At least 1-4 years of experience in video production and content creator (freelancers with strong portfolios welcome).
• Confident with camera operation (DSLR/mirrorless or phone) and basic lighting/audio setup.
• Passion for videography, social media, content creation, and storytelling.
• Able to work independently on filming and editing, as well as follow creative direction.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content creation and editing.
• Detail-oriented and commitment to producing error-free content.
• Familiar with various style guides and able to adapt to different writing styles.
• Team player who communicates clearly and responds well to feedback.
• Good time management, coordination and organizational skills of own project timeliness.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously
• Language proficiency - Mandarin, English (write and read)
