• Bachelor\'s degree in film production, cinematography, broadcasting, or a related field is beneficial. However, practical experience and a strong portfolio can often be equally valuable.
• Previous experience in videography, whether through internships, assistant positions, or freelance work, is highly valued. A portfolio showcasing proficiency in various aspects of video production, including shooting, editing, and storytelling, is essential.
• Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, understanding camera settings, composition, lighting techniques, and audio recording equipment is crucial. Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is also necessary.
• Strong creative vision, the ability to tell stories visually, and innovative problem-solving skills are essential qualities for videographers.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills are necessary for working with clients, directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality video content.
• Plan and execute video projects from concept to completion, manage resources effectively, and meet deadlines is important for success in the field of videography

ResponsibilitiesAs a videographer, you\'ll capture high-quality images and footage that meet clients\' requirements and artistic vision. This involves using DSLR cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment to ensure clarity and proper exposure. You\'ll collaborate with clients to plan shoots, scout locations, and organize props, showcasing technical proficiency in camera settings and post-processing. Effective communication, attention to detail, and organized file management are crucial. Additionally, you\'ll film and edit footage, requiring expertise in professional video cameras and audio capture, while maintaining efficient file management and archiving practices.

• Film and Capture Footage - Use professional video cameras, stabilisers, and other equipment to film high-quality footage that meets the client\'s specifications and project requirements, maintaining a consistent aesthetic throughout.
• Storyboarding and Planning - Collaborate with clients and directors to develop storyboards, shot lists, and creative concepts for video projects, ensuring alignment with the desired shots and visual style.
• Technical Expertise - Have a strong understanding of camera operation, including manual settings, focus control, resolution, scan-lines, and frame rates, to achieve desired result and maintain consistency.
• Editing and Post-Production - Edit and assemble raw footage using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Project Management - Manage all aspects of video production, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating resources such as crew members, equipment rentals, and location permits.
• Client Collaboration - Communicate effectively with clients throughout the production process, providing updates, soliciting feedback, and ensuring that the final video meets their expectations and objectives.
• File Management and Archiving - Establish efficient file management protocols to organise, store, and retrieve video files, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Implement regular backup and archiving procedures to preserve video assets and facilitate future use and distribution.
