About Role

The Virtual Medical Science Liaison (vMSL) serves as a key scientific partner to healthcare professionals (HCPs), supporting the implementation of field medical strategies through non-promotional, high-quality medical engagement. The vMSL will play a pivotal role in building scientific understanding and credibility within the medical community, fostering long-term collaboration, and generating insights to inform strategy.

Work Experience:

Minimum

of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in Medical Affairs, Clinical, or Scientific Engagement roles.

Academic Qualification

: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or PhD in Life Science/ Medical Science discipline (Pharmacist preferred).

Expectations from you

General Responsibilities

Establish and maintain peer-to-peer scientific engagement with HCPs through

virtual one-on-one discussions

. Act as a

scientific resource and subject matter expert

, facilitating awareness and understanding of disease areas, treatment pathways, and relevant therapeutic advancements. Deliver approved, accurate, and balanced scientific information in response to HCP inquiries and during scheduled engagements. Identify, document, and report field medical insights to help refine ongoing strategy and engagement plans. Support the planning and execution of virtual medical education sessions, such as P2P discussions, webinars, or advisory boards. Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, industry codes of conduct, and local regulatory guidelines during all interactions. Develop and maintain strong internal collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders such as medical affairs, compliance, and operations. Conduct in-depth market research to identify scientific, clinical, and competitive insights that inform medical strategy and stakeholder engagement. Drive field-based medical implementation by supporting on-the-ground activation of medical initiatives, ensuring alignment with local healthcare needs and strategic priorities. Specialist HCPs and General Practitioners (GPs)

Reporting & Deliverables:

Monthly scientific insights reports Scientific messaging awareness scoring reports Contribution to field medical strategy execution Development medical decks Moderation of virtual scientific sessions

Key Outcomes May Include:

Improved HCP awareness of disease management and treatment innovations Targeted behavioural or practice shifts (e.g., reduced therapy cycling, improved diagnostic practices) Uptake in use of validated tools (e.g., PROs, treatment guidelines) Key targets will be revised as per business requirement from time to time.

Qualifications & Skills requirement

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or PhD in Life Science/ Medical Science discipline (Pharmacist preferred). Minimum

3-6 years

of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in Medical Affairs, Clinical, or Scientific Engagement roles. Demonstrated expertise in scientific communication, stakeholder engagement, and virtual facilitation. Fluent in English; multilingual proficiency is an added advantage. Ability to work independently, with strong personal accountability and outcome focus. Availability to travel for in-person engagements when required (typically once a month or per client agreement).
