About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

Visualization Engineer (Tableau)

to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical solutions that support business decision-making. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex data into meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

interactive Tableau dashboards

and visualizations. Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform data analysis, data modeling, and ensure data accuracy and quality within dashboards. Optimize dashboard performance and ensure best practices in visualization design. Connect Tableau to various data sources and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) as needed. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams for end-to-end reporting solutions. Provide documentation, training, and support for Tableau dashboards and reports. Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.

3-5+ years of experience

in BI/Analytics roles with strong hands-on expertise in

Tableau

. Strong understanding of data visualization principles, UI/UX for dashboards, and storytelling with data. Experience working with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and working with large datasets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Python/R for data processing or automation. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake). Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server certification. Knowledge of additional BI tools like Power BI, QlikView, or Looker.
