About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle and oversee the operations of the team to ensure compliance of Standard Operating Procedures(SOP) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) at all times, not limited to the processing of the following core functions:
(i) Creation of accounts & perform loan disbursement based on instruction and supporting documents

(ii) Account Processing/Servicing relating to system maintenance for monetary and non-monetary transactions

(iii) Regulatory reporting and dashboard reporting.
  • Review internal controls and strict adherence to the Functional Control and Reports Checklists to prevent operational/mitigate risks.
  • Ensure team compliance with SOP and applicable Regulations, Acts, Internal Policies and Guidelines eg FSA, Operational Risk Management, PDPA etc.
  • Ensure team optimum productivity, drive zero defects mindset and perform team fungability.
  • Conduct periodic meetings/regular discussions, eg. new/revision of policy or procedures, impact relating to new product/product features, resolve work-related issues, etc
  • Provide guidance and feedback to the team on their performance and conduct the staff annual appraisals
  • Handle &/or participate in the projects including user acceptance testing (UAT), undertaken by the Bank/other workgroups, which involve the operations of the Centre. All project plans, requirements, activities, tasks and ad-hoc queries are handled, completed and implemented according to scheduled timeline.
  • Adhere to complaints management process including proper and timely closure
Job Requirements

Experience:
  • Recognized Degree/Diploma or other equivalent qualifications
  • Min. 10 years relevant working experience in handling loan/branch operations.
Technical skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Soft skills:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and display initiative to resolve problems
  • Highly motivated & capable of producing quality work
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and stressful environment
  • Able to multi-task to take on additional tasks
