About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

• Product Development & Product Marketing Support to PFS, Business and Commercial Banking ( BB/CMB), Islamic Banking
• Source for suitable Bancassurance/ Bancatakaful solutions for PFS/ BB /CMB , Islamic Banking
• Knowledge on Commercial/ Business Insurance and Product Development/ Insurance Needs; ie High Sum Assured/ \xe2\x80\x9c feature of top up loan \xe2\x80\x9c/ Financial Underwriting
• Segment opportunities identification and identify product solution via new Product Development/ Enhancement that suit customer needs
• BB.CMB: Manage new and existing Banca customer through product up sell/ cross sell, strategies and tactical campaigns to meet competition, changing business landscapes, customer preference and business plans
• Redefining Bancassurance products through customer insights and analytics of the customer purchase behaviour/decision

Job Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years working experience in the above Insurance/ Bancassurance / BancaTakaful
• Strong product knowledge on Life and General Insurance, Family and General Takaful Business
• Awareness on Insurance Product differentiation between Retails Client and Commercial Client
• Awareness on Regulatory requirement on both Insurance and Takaful in term product governance, Sales and Marketing and Shariah Requirement
• Have been a product manager and involved in strategic and business planning position in the past 3 years
• Must be P&L, Revenue savvy and quick to adjust to market movements
• Experience on Insurance Partner Management
• Work closely with key stakeholders including sales, branches and channels, marketing and technology and operations
