About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering business application and new features under enhancement or projects to meet business needs.
• Work with various teams on development of interfaces to ensure successful system integrations.
• Coordinate with vendor on the analysis, design, development and implementation of system
• Ensure security, audit and compliance findings are attended to and rectified.
• Investigate production errors, provide solution and follow up with users/vendor until case closure

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of strong application technical knowledge in Oracle Siebel, Java, C++ and .NET.
• Experience in application systems running on Unix (AIX/Linux) and Siebel Systems including Enterprise Integration Management (EIM) components and Siebel Technical Architecture.
• Experience with Banking Industry Channel-based Front End Systems Design and functions (such as Customer Relation Management, Wealth Management System, and Insurance Management System)
• Hands on experience with any scripting languages - Unix Shell- scripting, Power Shell scripting or Windows batch scripting.
• Experience in Connect Direct and using Job Scheduling tool like Control-M.
• Experience with upgrading obsolete operating systems, databases and servers.
• Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues from both technical as well as functional perspective.
• Knowledge in Banking IT environment or application knowledge in Java will be a plus.
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and team player.
