Waiter are responsible for interacting with customers on a daily basis, providing food and beverage orders as well as information on menus, special offers and other offers in the restaurant to customers.
Waiter are responsible for preparing the dining area and ensuring the cleanliness of the dining area before, during, and after the operation.
Waiter are also responsible for asking the customer if they are satisfied with their food and providing any assistance if the customer is not satisfied.
Waiter Job Duties
A waiter has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
Explain to customers about the menu and taking food and beverage orders.
Serve food orders to customers, answer questions about menu items, and provide descriptions of ingredients or preparation methods.
Listen carefully and record customer orders on the order chit or tablet.
Set the table and ensure adequate equipment such as tissues, linens and other items as directed by management.
Keeps the dining area clean and tidy at all times, and dishes are cleaned immediately after each time a customer leaves.
Provide information on food allergies or dietary limits to chefs or kitchen staff, as needed.
Serve food and beverages to customers directly from the kitchen or bar area.
Provide attentive service to customers by answering questions about menu items, making recommendations, or suggesting additional menus based on customer preferences.
Waiter Job Requirements
Waiter must have the following qualifications:
Education:
At least a diploma, high school or equivalent.
Experience:
At least 1 year of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
Certifications & Licenses:
It is compulsory for every food handler to attend a FOOD HANDLING COURSE and obtain a TYPHOID INJECTION

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
