Position Description

We are looking for a motivated and committed

Warehouse

(

Store) Assistant

capable of working in all areas of our manufacturing facility, including Picking, Production, Process work, Packing and Dispatch desk and Forklift and keeps things in check amidst a whirlwind of fast-moving activities and company growth.

Positions Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the efficient and effective running of all aspects of the warehouse (end to end) including:

Unloading incoming local and overseas parts shipments.

Ensure accuracy when loading and unloading outgoing goods and incoming supplies
Efficiently manage the storage and picking of raw material required for assembly.

Manage the picking, packing and shipping of finished goods and parts into scheduled export containers on time.

Ensure integrity of all incoming and outgoing goods. Liaise with freight carrier to achieve on time pick-up and dispatch. Responsible for raw material receipts and finished goods dispatch, including documentation and ERP system. Follow all safety procedures when operating the forklift. Remove all rubbish and packing material from work area and general cleanliness. Participate in stock takes when required. Comply with OH&S regulations. Assist in measures to increase productivity and waste management. Assist with administrative tasks such as reconciling consignment notes. Participate in daily production meeting. Participate in monthly Sales & Operations Planning meetings. Control quarterly and yearly stock take of raw material, WIP and finished goods. The company may alter these duties from time to time.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Position Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (min 1 years)

Certificate in warehousing / inventory control would be advantageous.

Forklift license with extensive experience.

Reliable transport and licence.

Physically fit and healthy.

Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S would be advantageous.

First Aid training would be advantageous.

Good organization, communication and general inter-personal skills.

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Able to work overtime and long hours.

Possess professional maturity, takes personal responsibility/accountability and is a team player.
