Job Description

1. Warehouse

Supervise and manage daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, inventory control and dispatching of goods. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services. Manage inventory using FIFO or JIT and ensure stock accuracy. Monitor stock expiry and collaborate with Purchasing and Sales to ensure sufficient stock and zero expired stock. Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
2. Logistics

Oversee logistics and transportation activities, including coordinating with external carriers and managing shipping schedules. Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics providers to secure favorable terms and conditions. Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery items.
3. Team Leadership

Lead, train and develop warehouse and logistics staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards. Foster a positive work environment and ensure team members are motivated and aligned with organizational goals. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
