An exciting role for a Warehouse Manager has just become available in one of the global leading Electrical Manufacturing Companies recently. You will manage the warehouse operations and lead the warehousing team to optimize inventory management and its movement of goods. In this position, you will be reporting to Assistant General Manager & Managing Director.

You will manage the warehouse operations and lead the warehousing team to optimize inventory management and its movement of goods. In this position, you will be reporting to Assistant General Manager & Managing Director.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage inventory; receipt, storage, retrieval, and delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into the system.
• Manage the daily operations of the warehouse in East and West Malaysia and its compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor the cost and performance of 3PL logistics providers.
• Lead the warehouse team in optimizing work productivity.
• Always research to improve all warehouse operations according to the company's objectives.
• Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration
• Ensure all warehouse and logistics data and documentation are reported in a timely and accurate manner.
• Improve and implement safety measures for all storage and movement of inventories and equipment
• Ensure that all stock count and variance reports are accurate and justify to Management with action plans to reduce future variances.
• Ensure KPIs are updated regularly and continue to monitor for improvement

Experience Requirements:

• At least 5 years of total experience in leading the Warehousing or Logistics department.
• Minimum Diploma in Warehouse / Logistics or equivalent.
• Prior experience in the distribution center, handling customer complaints.
• Ability to manage up to 40,000 SKUs in a warehouse.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work closely within the team.
• Ability to speak in English, Malay, and Mandarin are highly preferred.
• A forklift and GDL Licenses are highly preferred.

To succeed in the position, you must be a strong leader to lead a warehouse in ensuring the operation of the warehouse under a high volume of SKUs.
