The position can be challenging but you will be rewarded accordingly. About the Warehouse Project Site Manager Role:
In this role, you will be handling all matters related to the execution of warehouse automation projects for the company\xe2\x80\x99s retail warehouse in Malaysia. You will be responsible for vendor management and ensuring that the project is on track. This role reports directly to the Country Distribution Centre Manager. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the project team to ensure that the automation system is implemented, and commissioned on time, within allocated budget, and the set specifications
• Develop and monitor project schedule and ensure that project milestones are tracked
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure all work is done in a safe, efficient and effective manner
• Develop and manage the project budget ensuring all costs are tracked and reported accurately
• Ensure quality of work at site by conducting regular inspections
• Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges and risks

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong project management skills, knowledge in warehouse automation solutions and experience in managing a team of sub-contractors Key Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or any related field
• Minimum of eight years of experience in leading automation projects, preferably in warehouse automation
• Excellent project management skills
• Knowledge of warehouse automation systems including hardware, software, networking and control systems is an advantage
• Experiencing in managing a team of vendors and sub-contractors
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently whilst still being a team player
