Purpose Statement

This position will cover all activities related from receiving, warehousing, cycle count, issuance, shipping, Customs/trade compliance and physical distribution of material.

Key Responsibilities

-Direct activities related to material receiving, storing, cycle counting, issuing, dispatching, routing, tracking transportation and delivery in timely and error-free manner in accordance to approved procedure.
-Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
-Ensure high degree of inventory integrity and accuracy.
-Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer(internal and external) or shipper complaints and establish preventive measure.
-Obtain Customs and relevant authorities approval for the importation and exportation of goods and utilize any applicable free trade agreement.
-Manage the performance of logistics service provider.
-Control and Monitor Freight Costs and service level.
-Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
-Generate accurate and timely measurable, report and metrics as required by management and authorities e.g. Customs.
-Consistently look for continue improvement for the accuracy and productivity of the process.
-Ensure employees are trained and certified in carry out the duty and training is documented.
-Ensures all the activities comply with ethical standards and the internal Quality Management System.
