Job Description

Position Summary : Planning and managing logistics, warehouse and transportation in compliance with company\xe2\x80\x99s policies and vision. Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations. Ensure inventory accuracy. Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization. Provide leadership to warehouse team and strive to keep transportation costs low. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse and transportation in compliance with company\xe2\x80\x99s policies and vision. 2. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency. 3. Arrange warehouse and set up layout to ensure efficient space utilization. 4. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning for equipment\xe2\x80\x99s inspections, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. 5. Monitor inbound and outgoing shipments. 6. Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce. 7. Ensure inventory system is fully operational and accurate. 8. Manage stock control by conducting physical counts and reconcile with data storage system. 9. Access and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs. 10. Negotiate rates with carriers. 11. Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements. 12. Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results. 13. Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, aging stock report etc). 14. Receive feedback and monitor quality of service provided. 15. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security. 16. Other duties as assigned by management.
