Job Summary:

The Waste Water Treatment Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. The operator ensures that wastewater discharge meets all quality and safety requirements. The operator also assists in warehouse receiving activities and related administrative paperwork as needed.

Waste Water Treatment Duties

Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems (pumps, blowers, aerators, filters, etc.). Check treatment process parameters and record readings accurately Conduct routine inspections of the treatment plant to ensure proper functioning of all systems. Perform chemical dosing and adjust treatment processes based on water quality test results. Collect, test, and record samples of wastewater and treated effluent for quality control. Maintain accurate records of treatment data, chemical usage, and equipment performance. Identify and troubleshoot operational issues such as leaks, blockages, or abnormal readings. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wastewater treatment equipment. Follow all safety and environmental procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and waste materials. Report equipment failures, incidents, or potential environmental issues to the supervisor immediately. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and sustainability.

Warehouse & Paperwork Support:

Assist warehouse team in receiving raw materials, chemicals, and spare parts. Verify delivery orders (DO) and ensure correct quantities received. Help in labeling, recording, and organizing items in proper storage areas. Update simple records or assist with basic documentation (receiving forms, stock logs, etc.).

Other Duties:

Follow all safety and environmental regulations. Support other departments when required.

Qualifications:

SPM or Certificate in Environmental / Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial field. Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment or willing to learn. Able to handle simple paperwork and basic computer input. Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
