Job Description

This role reports to WaterPark Manager and responsible to execute task assigned to support the day-to-day WaterPark Operations including manning strategies, action plans, selection/interview, coaching, planning for staff members' development and their well-being.

Scope and Responsibilities:



Supporting and assisting the Water Park Managers in overseeing Water Park attractions, slides, pools, playscapes, restrooms, changing areas, admissions, and grounds cleanliness. Ensures that LLM maintains exceptional guest services, safety and cleanliness standards. Contributes knowledge of attractions, quality installation, slide safety and guest service to ensure smooth operation of attractions, slides, pools, and playscapes. Oversees the hiring and training of lifeguards according to the Lifeguard Saving Society of Malaysia (LSSM) standards as well as Water Park regulations. Ensures that in-service training is adhered to and followed up on. Ensures that the lifeguards receive their required amount of audits. Ensures that all safety and sanitary requirements are met and that all regulations are enforced. Reviews infrastructure, mechanical and other operating system requirements in accordance with plans and specifications. Evaluates and tests slides, attractions, and pools. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to exceed safety standards. Inspects the Water Park area and facilities to detect an existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventive measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. Documents and communicates findings and results; proposes corrective actions as the situation requires. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing professional publications. Maintains knowledge of current changes in local, state, and federal standards regarding safety & health issues, pool cleanliness, and drain covers protocols. Responsible for instilling a safety culture in the team keeping the guest safety of utmost importance. Measure staff engagement with safety through annual Wizard Wants to Know survey. Manage disciplinary issues (if any) Providing feedback and observation for team members and to support their development through Performance Development Plan Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their team, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.
