About the Role

We are seeking a talented and proactive

Web Designer

with strong WordPress expertise to take ownership of our websites and digital presence. The ideal candidate will not only design, manage, and optimise websites but also support digital marketing initiatives and assist the Project Director when required. This role is well-suited for someone creative, resourceful, and versatile, with the ability to work independently across multiple areas.

Key Responsibilities

Website Design & Development

Design, build, and manage the company's websites with a focus on

modern design, usability, and functionality

. Develop new websites for subsidiaries when needed, ensuring consistency with the group's brand identity. Enhance layout, visuals, and user experience using WordPress and related tools. Optimise website performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Stay updated with the latest design trends, plugins, and web technologies.

Digital Marketing Support

Collaborate on digital marketing campaigns to strengthen online presence. Coordinate with international vendors to promote products on their platforms. Respond to vendor and partner inquiries with professionalism.

Additional Responsibilities

Provide occasional support to the Project Director for client communications and scheduling. Engage with international clients, mainly from the US and Australia. Be flexible with working hours to accommodate different time zones. Travel between Subang (Management Office) and Klang (Shipyard) when required.

Requirements

Proven skills and experience in

WordPress website design and management

. Strong command of English (written and spoken). Creative, open-minded, and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving ability. Familiar with digital marketing concepts and international vendor communication. Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate US and Australian time zones. Must own transport (travel between Subang and Klang).
