Web Designer - Job Scope1. Website Design & Layout

Create visually appealing website layouts, mockups, and prototypes. Design responsive interfaces that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Ensure designs follow brand guidelines, color theory, typography, and UI/UX best practices.

2. User Experience (UX) Design

Conduct basic user research to understand target audiences. Structure website information architecture (navigation, menus, content layout). Optimize usability, readability, and overall user flow.

3. Front-End Implementation

(Depending on company requirements -- some web designers do minimal coding, some do more.)

Convert designs into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. Collaborate with developers to implement advanced functionality. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

4. Graphic & Visual Asset Creation

Design UI elements (buttons, icons, banners). Create digital graphics, illustrations, and image assets for web use. Optimize images and files for fast loading.

5. Website Maintenance & Updates

Update content, images, and styles as needed. Improve layout based on analytics or feedback. Troubleshoot small layout/design issues.

6. Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with developers, content writers, marketers, and product teams. Present design concepts and gather feedback. Manage tasks and timelines to meet project deadlines.

7. Performance & SEO Awareness

Ensure design supports SEO best practices (clean structure, proper tags, image optimization). Implement UI design strategies that improve conversion rates (CRO).

8. Tools & Software Proficiency

Common tools include:

Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom Webflow, WordPress (page builders like Elementor) Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is often required
