Job Title:

Web Engineer

You will be an integral member of our IT team that develop & support in-house web applications, involve in requirements gathering, testing and deployment aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Conduct requirement gathering with users. Review and refine user requirements documentation on the new functions and/or enhancement on existing functions in the web and/or mobile applications. Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions. Participate in testing and verification of application enhancement in both frontend and backend. Provide support on the enhancement deployment and related activities. Provide technical support to users to troubleshoot issues pertaining to in-house web application. Assist to troubleshoot, debug and optimize performance for apps/web. Able to develop both mobile apps (iOS and/or Android) & web apps.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or its equivalent. At least 2 years hands-on experience in designing and web development on ASP.net (.NET 2.0 and above) and MYSQL. At least 2 years hands-on experience in designing and mobile apps development (iOS and/or Android). Strong Experience in Web Application Development & Mobile Application Development Life Cycle. Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, ASP.net, C#, & SQL. Working knowledge on JSON REST API or XML Web Services development is needed Working knowledge on how to integrate with 3rd party REST API is preferred Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Knowledge on Logistics / Warehouse system will be an added advantage. Good service-oriented mind set with a strong focus on client's approach and committed to exceed clients' expectations. Able to work independently, minimum supervision, dedicated, results oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure. Ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced environment. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Applicants must be willing to work in Subang Jaya. Selangor.
