Job Function: WordPress Website Design & Development Support

As a Graphic Designer Intern focused on WordPress, you will assist in designing, building, and updating websites using WordPress CMS. Your primary role is to combine design creativity with basic web development knowledge to produce visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites. You will work closely with the marketing and design team to ensure brand consistency, implement creative content layouts, and optimize website visuals for performance and SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in building and updating WordPress websites using pre-built themes and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Divi).

Design and create visual content (banners, sliders, icons, etc.) optimized for web.

Ensure responsive design compatibility across mobile and desktop devices.

Upload and format content including text, images, and videos.

Support website performance optimization (e.g., image compression, lazy loading).

Assist in implementing basic SEO practices (e.g., alt tags, meta descriptions).

Maintain brand consistency in all website visuals and layouts.

Conduct visual QA testing and report bugs or design inconsistencies.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS and drag-and-drop page builders.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.

Eye for visual design, layout, and web user experience.

Willingness to learn web tools, plugins, and WordPress workflows.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3-12 months

Pay: RM500.00 - RM900.00 per month
