Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality welding and fabrication in compliance with engineering drawings, welding codes, and company standards. Carry out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to identify surface and subsurface defects in welds and equipment. Ensure all welding and inspection activities comply with
American Petroleum Institute (API 8C)
standards for drilling and hoisting equipment. Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports, welding records, and documentation for traceability. Support repair, maintenance, and recertification of equipment as required by client and regulatory bodies. Adhere to health, safety, and quality management systems (HSE & QMS) in all work processes. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.Job Requirements:
Certified Welder with proven experience in fabrication and repair works. Qualification/certification in
Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
. Knowledge and working experience withAPI 8C standards
(drilling/hoisting equipment). Strong understanding of welding procedures, inspection methods, and quality assurance practices. Ability to interpret technical drawings, codes, and standards. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 per month
