Description :Barnes Aerospace, a business of Barnes Group Inc. Barnes Aerospace provides a total solutions package to our customers that leverages the synergies between our OEM and MRO businesses to address complex aerospace customer needs and support products through the entire lifecycle.Core Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and brazing, any combination of welding processes in accordance with standard practices and specification found in engine manual.
• Plan and layout welding work on titanium, aluminum, nickel-based alloys and stainless-steel parts, following standardized work procedures and parameters.
• Create parameter sheets for products, adjust controls for amperage and voltage and prove program and document parameters.
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications. Blend, grind or polish weld ensuring specified minimum wall requirement is met.
• Use indicators, vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges to check work and verify conformance of finished part to specifications.
• Maintain welding certification in specific welds and material as required.
• Detect faulty operations and material and report these and other problems to immediate supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.
• Wear necessary protective gloves, masks, shields and coats as required and comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
• Thoroughly complete production paperwork and systems transactions.
• Work with Quality Department on machine calibration and to perform machine troubleshooting
• Provide training to others as required.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of TIG welding experience in aerospace industry.
• Possess welding certificate.
• Proficient with various measuring instruments such as indicators, verniers calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Able to read and interpret operation sheets and follow complex instructions and/or directions.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and good communications skills.
• Able to work night shift.

• Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Manufacturing)/ or Welding Certification from an accredited trade college or Vocational school equivalent
