Job Description

:We are looking for experienced welders to join our team at the Ulu Choh construction site. This role involves performing welding tasks to support our construction activities. Upon completion of the construction project, the successful candidates may transition to our production manufacturing team.Responsibilities:-Perform welding tasks as per construction requirements.-Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand welding requirements.-Inspect materials and structures to be welded.-Maintain and calibrate welding equipment.-Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.-Work with other team members to complete projects efficiently.-Perform quality control checks on completed welds.-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the welding area.-Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.Requirements:-Proven experience as a welder.-Certification in welding (e.g. SKM, CIDB or international certification like AWS, CSWIP).-Proficiency in 6G GTAW and SMAW-Proficiency in 3G SMAW is also required.-Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel.-Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.-Good physical condition and stamina.-Proficiency in English and Malay is mandatory.-Mandarin speakers will be given priority.-Ability to work efficiently and safely in a construction environment
