Job Description

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:

a) To use MIG welding / ARC welding equipment to manufacture parts and assemblies as required, meeting defined production schedules.

b) To supply quality parts and assemblies from jigs & fixtures.

c) Support the QA department with respect to jig & fixture evaluation.

d) Build welded assemblies for new products and changes to existing products per engineering drawings and established production standard.

Operating other necessary equipment and performing tasks necessary to complete parts to specifications.

f) Preparing and setup of necessary tools and equipment for welding jobs.

g) Propose potential quality or productivity enhancement i.e. continual improvements.

h) Review of finished assemblies and parts to ensure accuracy against drawing.

i) Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions as required.

j) Participate in and attend cross functional meetings as required.

k) Work on special project as needed.

l) To act on any other responsibilities and duties as may be directed from time to time.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

a) Minimum 3 years working experience in welding and fitting trade.

b) Ability to read engineering drawing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
