Reporting To: Production Supervisors

Industry: Custom Industrial Equipment Manufacturing (Ovens, Paint Lines, Dipping Systems)

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Permanent conversion opportunity after 9-month review)

What You'll Do

Read and follow technical drawings and 3D models (eDrawings). Measure, cut, bend, and fit steel or metal parts accurately. Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding on mild steel and stainless steel. Assemble parts and structures in the factory and at customer sites. Carry out site installation and commissioning works when required. Use power tools (grinders, drills, saws) and setup welding/fabrication machines. Build simple jigs or fixtures for repeated jobs. Follow strict safety rules and wear proper PPE. Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and site team to meet deadlines. Assist in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and other QC processes. Support material tracking and basic updates in MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor. Experienced welders may also help guide junior staff or take on more complex work.

Qualification:

-SPM or technical training certificate.

-2 to 5 years of welding and fitting experience (training will be provided for less experienced candidates).

-Skilled in MIG, TIG, ARC welding.

-Able to read 2D/3D drawings and use eDrawing software.

-Good teamwork, communication, and safety awareness.

-Nice to have: Knowledge in fixture building, QC inspection, exotic metals, and site work and installation experience.

Working Conditions:

- Hours: Mon- Fri, 8:30am - 6.30pm

- Breaks: 60mins lunch + 10min morning and afternoon tea break + flexible solat time

- Overtime: OT pay rate compliant with Malaysia labor laws, OT scheduled based on project need.

- Weekday OT: Minimum 2 hours per session with addidtional 30 minutes dinner break
- Weekend OT: Full day requirement (8:30am - 5.30pm)
- Environment: Factory + site (non- air-conditioned)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
