Job Requirement

High School/Diploma or equivalent is essential however technical training in welding is highly preferred Profesional certification from recognized welding organization like AWS, CW Hands-on experience in welding Knowledge in Safety Protocol and possession of saftey certification (OSHA) is an added advantage Continued education and certification renewal are often required to keep up evolving welding technologies and method

Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawing to understand the project requirement Measuring and cutting metal components to specified dimensions using hands too, plasma cutter and metal cutting machines Using different welding techniques like MIG, TIG and stick welding to join metal parts together Setting up, maintaining and operating welding equipment safely and efficiency Inspecting and testing welds and ensuring that they meet design requirement, safety standards and structural reliability Applying knowledge of metallurgy and material properties to the welding process Ensuring work is done in compliance with relevant code Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
