We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Payroll Specialist
to join our HR team. In this role, you'll manage the
end-to-end payroll process
to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely salary disbursement for all employees.
You'll work closely with HR, Finance, and external authorities to maintain seamless payroll operations while upholding confidentiality and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle full-cycle payroll processing including data validation, calculation, and submission.
Ensure accurate statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, Zakat, etc.).
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain employee payroll data and update HRIS systems.
Prepare monthly payroll reports (reconciliation, movement, headcount, etc.).
Support annual processes such as EA form issuance and tax submission.
Handle payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with Malaysia's labour laws and internal company policies.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree
in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-3 years of experience
in end-to-end payroll, preferably in MNC or large-scale company.
Proficient in
Microsoft Excel
(pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Experience with payroll software (e.g.
BIPO, SAP, Workday, HR2000, UBS
) preferred.
Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Malaysia's
income tax, pension & social security
requirements.
Payroll certification (e.g. PCP, CPP) is an advantage.
