Job Description

Job Brief To secure and increase sales to wholesale customers, including identifying and approaching potential customers. To develop business plans, meet targets and coordinate with customers to ensure that orders are fulfilled. Key Accountabilities Identify opportunities and strategies to increase sales, primarily in Malaysia but also overseas. Work with the Purchasing and Merchandising department to select the inventory available to wholesale customers. Meet with clients to determine their needs, discuss products and services, and secure orders. Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities for growth, including identifying new markets for existing products or developing new products for untapped markets. Manage the company\'s relationships with current customers and building relationships with potential clients to generate new business. Plan and execute sales campaigns to increase sales and meet organizational goals. Work closely with Marketing, Online and Retail Departments, and with the rest of the Purchasing Department. Monitor inventory levels to ensure that there is sufficient stock of items that are likely to sell quickly Coordinate with warehouse and logistics staff to ensure that orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Complete and issue necessary documentation. Keep abreast of publishing trends and popular culture. Undertake any other task/job/project assigned by superior. Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Excellent communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel. Able to travel within and out of the country. Working Conditions This position will be based at our HQ office in Section 33, Shah Alam. Working days are Monday to Friday, and default hours are 9:00AM to 6:00PM. Standard working hours can be selected from: 8.00am to 5.00pm, or 8.30am to 5.30pm, or 9.30am to 6.30 pm) Long and irregular hours may be required.
