Responsibilities

Infrastructure Support & Maintenance:
o Manage, configure, and maintain VMware virtualized environments, including vSphere and vCenter.

o Support and optimize Veeam backup and disaster recovery solutions.

o Administer and maintain network components, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

o Manage Windows/Linux servers, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.

o Oversee storage systems, ensuring availability, security, and efficient utilization.

Troubleshooting & Incident Management:
o Provide technical support for escalated issues related to infrastructure components.

o Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, network failures, and system outages.

o Work closely with vendors for hardware and software issue resolution.

Project & Business-As-Usual (BAU) Support:
o Assist in IT infrastructure projects, including migrations, expansions, and deployments.

o Support day-to-day BAU operations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:
o Supporting disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

o Coordinate with teams to validate backup integrity and recovery strategies.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
o Maintain accurate and updated system documentation, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

o Provide knowledge sharing and training sessions for the internal IT team.

Compliance & Security:
o Ensure infrastructure components adhere to security policies and compliance frameworks.

o Conduct periodic audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,500.00 per month
