Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with local and national electrical codes and standards
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems and equipment
Install and maintain electrical power systems, including transformers, generators, switchgear, and circuit breakers
Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems with electrical systems and equipment
Use hand and power tools, such as pliers, wire cutters, and screwdrivers, to install and repair electrical components
Work with electrical wiring, conduits, and cables to connect electrical power to equipment and systems
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
Keep accurate records of all work performed, including materials used, time spent, and work completed
