Job Description

We are looking for a

Wireman

with basic hands-on experience in electrical installation work. The Wireman will assist in wiring, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems at project sites, ensuring work is carried out safely and according to standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Installation Work

Perform wiring installation for power points, lighting, DBs, trunking, conduits, and cable routing. Assist in the installation of electrical equipment such as switchboards, isolators, sockets, and light fixtures. Support in cable pulling, laying, dressing, and termination under supervision.

2. Testing & Troubleshooting

Conduct basic continuity and polarity checks. Assist in fault-finding and troubleshooting of electrical circuits. Support senior wiremen or chargeman during testing and commissioning activities.

3. Site Work & Coordination

Follow instructions from site supervisors, chargemen, and engineers. Help ensure materials, tools, and equipment are prepared and stored properly. Comply with site safety rules and wear PPE at all times.

4. Compliance & Safety

Carry out electrical works according to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) guidelines and project specifications. Ensure all wiring work is done safely and neatly. Report unsafe conditions or faulty equipment immediately.

RequirementsMinimum Qualifications

SPM or equivalent qualification. Basic electrical installation experience (0-2 years).

Wireman certificate (PW1 / PW2)

from ST is an added advantage but not mandatory for entry-level roles.

Preferred Experience

Exposure to construction, renovation, or industrial electrical work. Experience assisting in cable installation, DB wiring, or electrical fitting works.

Skills & Competencies

Basic understanding of electrical tools and wiring methods. Ability to read simple wiring diagrams (advantage). Physically fit and comfortable working on-site. Responsible, reliable, and willing to learn. Able to work overtime or weekends when required.

Additional Advantages

Possession of Wireman license (PW1, PW2). Knowledge of site safety practices or possession of safety-related certificates. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
