What are my job responsibility?

• Report to the Workshop Manager
• To maintain and improve service level of the Workshop
• To ensure manpower and all operating resources are met.
• To confer with sales, tendering and customers to obtain description of work scope and discuss the necessary work to be performed.
• Check the activities in the workshop, inspect completed work, job sheets and draft reports to detect faults.
• Responsible for planning, organize job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labor allocation for day to day running and operations of the workshop.
• Know how to use diagnostic and electrical testing tools related rotating machinery such as electric motors
• Act as technical advisor and be able to troubleshoot and solve when problems arise.
• Ensure materials, consumables and other supplies are ordered for each job
• Receive and review feedback from customers and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

• 3 to 5 years experience in Electric Motors Overhauling, Repair and Rewinding.
• 3 to 5 years experience in managing and lead Technicians in a workshop environment
• Possed Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Chargeman Certificate would be advantageous
• Competence knowledge advanced in Technical knowledge on MV/HV AC Motors
• Competence knowledge basic in MS Office
• Competence knowledge basic in Motor and Generator Commissioning Background
• Competence knowledge basic in Motor Troubleshooting, Maintenance &Testing
