Key Responsibilities

Academic Support and Manuscript Services

Provide subject-matter expertise to assist authors in structuring

clinical, biomedical, or scientific

manuscripts and optimizing logical flow. Offer specialized writing coaching, copy-editing, and proofreading services to

medical researchers

and non-native English speakers. Ensure manuscripts meet the specific requirements and scope of target

medical and scientific journals

.

Data Analysis and Processing

Conduct data cleaning, statistical analysis, and visualization for

clinical or research data

using tools such as SPSS, R, and Python. Design and implement tailored data analysis plans for

biomedical studies

, producing clear and insightful reports.

Peer Review and Quality Control

Support initial screening of

medical and life sciences manuscripts

, assessing academic rigor, clinical relevance, novelty, and methodological soundness. Liaise between authors, reviewers, and editors to facilitate the peer review process for complex

biomedical content

.

AI Tool Development and Optimisation

Identify and pilot AI applications for

medical academic publishing

(e.g., automated literature summarization, data extraction from clinical studies). Contribute a

medical perspective

to the training and refinement of AI models for academic writing and research support.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

Work with editorial, production, and marketing teams as a

medical knowledge resource

to enhance the quality and accuracy of services.

Requirements

A completed PhD

in Medicine, Life Sciences, Biomedicine, Pharmacy, or a closely related field

. A strong publication record in international, peer-reviewed

medical or scientific journals

. Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization relevant to

medical research

(using SPSS, R, or Python). Experience using AI writing and research support tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to discuss complex

medical and scientific concepts

clearly. Outstanding organizational and project management abilities.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience as a peer reviewer or editorial assistant for

a medical or scientific journal

. Training or coaching experience in

scientific/medical

writing or research methods.
