Position: Year 3 Homeroom Teacher

Target Start Date: 12 January 2026

Salary Range: RM12,000 - RM14,000

Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced

Year 3 Homeroom Teacher

to join its Johor campus in

January 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading classroom teaching, pastoral care, and academic

development for Year 3 students

, aligned with the

Cambridge Primary Curriculum

. This position is ideal for a seasoned international school educator, preferably with expatriate teachingbackground and strong experience in 21st-century teaching approaches.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Education; or Non-Education Bachelor's + Diploma/PGDE/PGCE in Education.

Experience:

Minimum 8 years' teaching experience in an international school setting. Proven exposure to the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.

Location:

Currently based and teaching in Malaysia. Willing to relocate to Johor.

Pedagogical Competence:

Strong classroom management and inclusive teaching skills. Demonstrated use of ed-tech and 21st-century learning approaches.

Soft Skills:

Excellent English communication (spoken & written). Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural school environment.

Passion & Professionalism:

Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and student development. Active pursuit of continuous professional growth.

Preferred / Added Advantage

Prior teaching in Cambridge Primary (Years 3-6) or Key Stage 2 (KS2). Experience with assessment design, differentiation, and parent engagement. Contributions to co-curricular activities and pastoral responsibilities. Familiarity with online teaching tools (Google Classroom, Seesaw, MS Teams). Expatriate teaching experience or exposure to international, diverse classrooms.
