As a Zonal Business Manager, you will be the lead person responsible to translate business direction determined by Head of Zone (HOZ) into zonal implementation plans for the Zonal Business Supervisors to execute. You will be tasked to support HOZ in engaging and collaborating with zonal teams and business partners.You will be accountable to:

  • Support and implement HOZ\'s Business Direction & Strategy of assigned zone.
  • Support HOZ & lead in evaluating new business opportunities/ partnerships for business expansion/ growth through competitor activities and financial data analysis.
  • Provide business review and reporting of assigned zone to HOZ. Continuously monitor and report on market information, including competitor intelligence with the objective to provide awareness & understanding of trade-related developments.
  • Regularly build and engage collaborators, partners, key retailers & distributors; and determine plans to address challenges / concerns.
  • Explore relevant trade engagement platforms, value added trade initiatives and/or mutually beneficial business outcomes.
  • Coach and develop team for future roles/ succession planning through on the job training, provide timely guidance and feedback to develop a highly capable and engaged team within the Zone.
  • Continuously manage performance/ deliverables of team and partners financial/ volume/ users targets. Ensure self and all GT Retailer Collaborators/ partners comply with all PMI Principles & Practices, Code of Conduct, Commercial processes, local and Federal laws.
  • Be change lead for transformation in assigned zone.
  • Support the HOZ to develop the digital strategy and roadmap for the zone, and ensure implementation of digital strategy and roadmap while leveraging on digital solutions to achieve business objectives.
  • Plan ZBS route plan and to engage overall GT retailers regularly and conduct compliance audits to all PMI Principles & Practices, Code of Conduct, Commercial processes, local and Federal laws.
Who we\'re looking for
You will excel in Zonal Business Manager role should you have:
  • University degree in Business Administration domain, Marketing or any related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Sales Field, preferably in the FMCG industries with at least 2 years\' experience in an Executive role in either Key Accounts Commercial Planning, Retail, Commercial Capability and minimum 3 years\' experience in people management.
  • Solid coaching and people management skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Experienced in engaging with different business stakeholders and possesses strong influencing skills.
  • Good financial acumen and planning skills (budgeting, business cycle & etc.).
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills, with an ability to apply logic and challenge assumptions.
  • Computer savvy especially in MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge in regulatory requirements.
