Taisei Lamick Malaysia Sdn Bhd (TLM), previously known as Malaysia Packaging Industry Berhad or MAYPAK, was established on 17th March 1975 and was granted pioneer status for manufacturing of flexible packaging materials. Since our inception, we have led the local converting industry and was listed on Bursa Malaysia in 1990. We have been certified by SIRIM for ISO9001 Quality Management System in 1995 and the ISO14001 Environmental Management System in 2000. Even from our earliest days, we have always had Japanese partners who have contributed to our strong work culture of quality and excellence. This partnership has enabled the transfer of Japanese production management systems like 5S and Kaizen to meet and exceed customer expectations. As a result of our technical heritage gained from our Japanese partners, we have successfully expanded our product range to cover specialised products like retort-able pouches. We achieved another milestone when Japan’s top Liquid Packaging Specialist, Taisei Lamick Co. Ltd. bought over the company in September 2016. We became a subsidiary company under the group and was taken private in 2017. As Taisei Lamick Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., we have added the state-of-the-art Dangan range of high-speed auto filler for liquids and proprietary high-speed film, Taisei Logical Film.
