Formtri Idea is looking for an experienced and passionate

Technical Designer

(1-3 years' experience) who is creative, dedicated, and eager to grow with our team in designer including the cabinetry and custom carpentry industry.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree

in Interior Design or a related field Minimum

1 year of experience

using Cabinet Vision Software (preferred) Expert in design software such as

SketchUp

, AutoCAD, or similar Able to produce detailed

technical drawings

Good understanding of

kitchen cabinet construction

and the

manufacturing process

Ability to

read and interpret

technical drawings accurately Detail-oriented with strong

problem-solving skills

Familiarity with a wide range of materials

used in cabinetry and interior works Able to

work well

in a team environment and

communicate effectively

with team members Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently with

minimal supervision

Basic

knowledge of design

principles is an added advantage

Job Scope:

Work closely with Designers and the Team Project

ensure all technical drawings

align with the final concept and client-approved layout Create

precise and detailed drawings

using Cabinet Vision (CV) software, ensuring they meet project specs and site conditions Submit completed drawings for review and obtain HOD approval before generating and submitting CNC files to production Coordinate with the Team Production to ensure the final product matches the approved drawings. Clearly explain materials and specifications

to avoid errors

Ensure all drawings are accurate and complete.

Identify and resolve

technical issues or site constraints that could impact production or installation Handle technical and design challenges independently.

Offer solutions

for drawing errors, material issues, or unexpected changes. Escalate complex issues when needed Maintain

consistency

in design standards, materials, and technical details. Ensure alignment between design intent and technical output while upholding brand quality
