A2R Cash Management Executive

Purpose of Role
The A2R Executive is accountable for the processing of transactions related to:

  • Bank accounting

This role will support core model implementation and ensuring the enforcement of accounting standards and reliability of the data collected from management, controllers, tax department and other E2E processes. Apart from that, this role will require active participation in driving A2R continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance

  • Ensure SOX and Internal Control Framework compliance across activities, and support A2R Team Manager/Supervisor and Country Finance to identify and address any gaps

  • Support external and internal audits by working closely with A2R Team Manager/Supervisor and Country Finance

  • Ensure adequate follow up on issues identified during external and internal audit


Operations

  • Support quality reporting of legal statutory accounts and consolidation packages within the local regulatory and Sanofi Group calendar timeframes

  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS 16) and company procedures to ensure integrity of financial information

  • Support A2R Team Manager/Supervisor in CFO closing meetings by providing detailed analysis and/or explanation of material changes in Cash accounting.

  • Deliver quality data entries of cash transactions and perform adequate reconciliation.

  • Contribute to Sanofi Account Committee and Customer Board preparation and reviews

  • Ensure SOP documentations are updated on timely basis to reflect latest process/tool/policy changes

  • Propose and support projects which aim to transformation and automate Cash Accounting processing.

  • Implement and ensure alignment to Cash Accounting core mode

Continuous improvement

  • Support A2R Team Manager/Supervisor in monitoring performance on a continuous basis against agreed SLAs and define corrective actions, where necessary

  • Identify and articulate improvement areas across processes and technology \xe2\x80\x93 including ERP and other tools and solutions

  • Contribute to customer satisfaction initiatives, including regular assessment of service satisfaction across Country Finance and other stakeholders

  • Embrace RPA mindset.


Performance of the successful candidate will be measured across all duties and responsibilities and will be expressed in terms of Timeliness and Accuracy of work. Where applicable, these performance measures will apply to any contribution of the successful candidate to further improving Sanofi Group Finance shared services.

Essential Skills and Experience
Essential Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years working experience in Finance/Accounting sector

  • Working experience with SAP, specifically Fi/Co or other treasury tools

  • Proficient in the use of applications in the MS-Office suite, including MS-Excel.

  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent


Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Working experience in a customer-facing and service-oriented corporate position

  • Working experience in Accounts to Report (cash)

  • Working experience in a Finance shared services environment, either captive (in-house) or in a BPO
