Job Overview

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Analytics team in transforming raw data into meaningful insights. The role involves assisting in the development of analytical reports, providing key business insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis, a keen eye for detail and a passion for turning data into actionable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather and clean data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy, consistency and integrity. Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns and insights that can drive business decisions. Reporting & Dashboards: Assist in creating regular reports and dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders. Business Insights: Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights that support decision-making processes. Data Modeling: Help build and maintain data models, performing statistical analysis to identify significant trends or forecasting patterns. Support Projects: Assist in the implementation and execution of various analytics projects, including process improvements, product development, and marketing analysis. Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analysis as required by senior leadership to support various business initiatives. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of processes, methodologies and findings to ensure repeatability and accuracy in analyses.
Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in data analysis, data science ,business intelligence, or a similar role

Familiarity with data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, or statistical software.
Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Proficiency in data manipulation and querying databases (SQL preferred). Solid understanding of statistical techniques and data modeling. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality. Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
