Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized

Account Assistant

to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Maintain and update the General Ledger to ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded and properly coded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Perform daily accounting operations including journal entries, adjustments, accruals, and intercompany transactions. Prepare and review reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, customers, and other balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, supporting schedules, and documentation for audit and management review. Verify, classify, and record invoices, employee expense claims, and other financial documents to ensure they are properly supported and authorized. Ensure timely posting of transactions and follow up on outstanding items where necessary. Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure deadlines are met. Liaise with internal departments and external parties to resolve accounting discrepancies or related matters. Assist in implementing process improvements and maintaining proper filing and documentation for audit purposes. Perform other ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by the supervisor or Finance Manager.

Work Requirements:



Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. At least

1 Year(s) of working experience

in the related field is required for this position. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills as well as attention to detail. Excellent in accounting software (especially in Autocount) and computer applications (Microsoft Words, Excel) Have own transport and willing to work at

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
