Position : Account AssistantCompany Industry : School and InstructionWorking Hours : Mon - Fri (7:30AM - 4:30PM)Working Location : Setia Ecio Park - No 1, Jalan Setia Tropika U13/18T, Seksyen U13, 40170 Shah AlamWorking Duration: 12 Months Contract with PERSOLKELLY (Yearly Renewal)Remuneration : Salary RM3,000 to RM3,500 (based on qualification & education), statutory contribution & leave entitlement**Free parking, safe & friendly environmentROLE OVERVIEW:To manage the relation between the internal & external clients and the company for which the Account Assistant are working. The account assistant directly reports to the finance manager and assists in operation within the department.WHO CAN APPLY:

  • Diploma or Degree holder in Account Related
  • Have 1 to 2 years of work experience
  • Good communication in Malay & English
  • Having pleasant personality
  • Able to attend Face-to-face interview
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Pays vendors/employees\' claims by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing cheques, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation ensuring credit note is received for outstanding memos, issuing stop-payments.
  • Maintains historical records by microfilming and filling documents.
  • Perform on timely basis the Bank reconciliation, journal vouchers etc to ensure that they are supported by valid documents for processing.
  • Track and follow up with the account receivable section with regards to reimbursement of CCA claims and field trips / excursion payment, ensuring all collections are accounted for before releasing of payments
  • To submit withholding tax on time by sorting out all the relevant document to submit IRB (Form 37A, invoice and payment remittance advice).
  • Plan prepare the termly fee invoice (include timely preparation for new students) and ensure completeness in student enrolment and accuracy in fee charge.
  • Responsible for the credit control function, which included collections, perform review on debtors aging, follow-up action on slow paymaster and monthly report to the management.
  • Plan and work with the CCA Coordinator/teacher to ensure completeness int he collection of CCA fees, meal plan and other collections.
  • Handles queries from parents with regards to fees and invoicing matters.
  • Assist in the company\'s audits and taxation matters to ensure the full compliance to reporting deadlines, accounting standards and tax laws, which includes the preparation of relevant schedules to be provided to the auditors and tac agent to ensure their reliability.
  • At all times adhere to holding company\'s and local management\'s polities, standard operating procedures, accounting treatment, accounting systems, internal controls system and reporting requirement.
  • To perform and other jobs delegated by your supervisor and/ or management from time to time.
